THE BARE TRUTH OF STEPPING INTO SOMETHING NEW...

Hey friends — it’s Maria here!
If you know me, you know I’m not one to sugarcoat things. Starting something new? It’s messy. It’s awkward. It’s a little scary. But it’s also where the magic happens.
Let’s be honest: walking into a brand-new studio (or starting any new
chapter in life) feels a bit like showing up to a party where you don’t know anyone yet. Your brain’s like, “Do I belong here? Will I survive? The BARE truth? Yes.
But then why does it feel so hard? Because doing something different requires you to show up without your usual safety net. It forces you to trade comfort for curiosity, autopilot for awareness. And that’s uncomfortable — but it’s also exactly where the shift begins.
Because here’s the thing about our workout: it’s intentionally uncomfortable. We slow everything down on the X-former so your muscles don’t get to cheat their way through. You’re gonna shake. You’re gonna wonder if time actually stopped. You might even mutter a
few words under your breath (no judgment). But on the other side of that slow burn Strength, confidence, and a kind of “wow, I actually did that” pride you carry with you long after class.
Building this studio has felt the same way for me. Equal parts terrifying and exhilarating. But every wobble, every “what the heck am I doing?” moment, is worth it. Because growth doesn’t happen when we play it safe. It happens when we BARE it all — nerves, sweat, shaky legs and all.
So if you’ve been waiting for a sign to step into something new, this is it. Come see what the shake is all about. Trust me, it’s way more fun when you stop trying to be perfect and just show up.
From my core to yours,
