FEMININE LEADERSHIP IS NOT A LIABILITY

Hi, it’s Maria and happy International Women’s Day!
There is a quiet narrative that still follows women in business.
That we are reactive.
That we are overly emotional.
That we lead from feeling instead of fact.
I have never experienced that to be true. What I have experienced is this: women are perceptive. We can feel the room. We can read the data. We can sense a shift before it becomes obvious. And we can still make decisive moves.
Emotion is not a liability in leadership. It is information.
It tells you when something is off. It tells you when standards are slipping. It tells you when someone needs support or when a boundary needs to be reinforced.
The difference is whether you are ruled by it or whether you interpret it. I do not run a company as a “female founder.”I run a company as a capable human being. Clear. Grounded. Certain.
Feminine leadership in my life is structured. It is grounded. It is trusting my instincts even when they are unpopular and creating environments that are both nurturing and disciplined. It is standing firm in my morals and leading the same way any capable leader would, direct, measured, and decisive.
There is strength in that balance. I believe we are actively rewriting the narrative that women are too emotional to lead. The truth is, perception paired with discipline is powerful. Intuition paired with data is strategic. Care paired with boundaries is sustainable.
The women I admire, the women inside this studio, the women building businesses, raising families, rebuilding themselves, leading teams, are not chaotic leaders.
They are structured ones.
They read the room.
They analyze the numbers.
They trust their instincts.
And then they decide.
And they do not apologize for it.
Because every standard I set and every decision I make shapes the rooms I am
responsible for.
If I am remembered for anything, I hope it is this:
That I changed the energy of every room I entered.
That I made excellence feel normal.
That I made discipline feel empowering.
That I proved you can care deeply and still lead decisively.
Not as a woman trying to overcome something. But as a human being who understood that leadership is not about suppressing emotion. It is about mastering it.
That is feminine leadership.
It is not a weakness.
It is strength redefined.
