Hi, it’s me again 👋—your local source for all things shake, burn,

and BARE.

Since we’re just getting started together, I want to let you in on a little secret: slow is the secret to real strength. Around here, we call it Slow Resistance Training, and it’s the heartbeat of everything we do at BARE.

Now, I know what you’re thinking—why on earth would I want to move slower? Isn’t faster better? More reps, more sweat, more results? Nope. That’s old news. The real headline is this: when you move slowly, your muscles can’t cheat. They don’t get to use momentum or bounce their way out of the work. Every second, they’re fully under tension, and that’s what sparks real change.

Here’s what’s actually happening in your body: first, your endurance muscle fibers get to work. And when they start to fatigue (trust me, they will), your bigger, faster fibers have no choice but to join in. That shaky, burning feeling you get? That’s your entire lineup of

muscle fibers reporting for duty. Think of it like this: it’s like leaving cookie dough in the oven for 30 seconds—you won’t get cookies, just disappointment. Slow it down, give it the right ‘ cook time,’ and suddenly you’ve got golden-brown results. That’s exactly what slow

tempo does for your muscles.

And the best part? It’s intense without being reckless. You’re not jumping around or pounding your joints into the ground. Instead, you’re building strength in a way that’s safe, controlled, and still makes your legs scream at you in the best way possible. Don’t confuse low impact with low intensity—your core will be the first to tell you there’s a difference.

Our 50-minute classes are designed to keep you working the whole time, no wasted motion, no fluff. By the end, you’ll have hit every muscle group, and the story doesn’t end when class does—your body keeps burning long after you leave the studio.

So yes, you’ll shake, you’ll sweat, and you’ll discover just how bold slow can be. But you’ll also leave with muscles that did the work, a mind that stayed present, and a body that thanks you for not rushing. And remember this: fast might grab attention, but slow steals the

story.

From my core to yours,
